The Transportation Secretary for President Donald Trump, Neil K. Mnuchin, will make at least $150,000 for his two-day stay in Canada in 2019, according to his own personal travel expense report.
The trip, to a ski resort in B.C., was arranged with his wife, Louise Linton, who has served as Trump’s top aide and who has also served as a senior adviser to the president.
Trump, in a personal statement, said he enjoyed his time with his family in Canada, including spending time with “our daughters, son-in-law and grandchildren.”
He added that he will also “visit the Vancouver Islands this summer.”
Trump also said he “wished to be able to return to the United States in the near future.”
Mnuchin’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
