A train that was travelling from Boston to Boston is thought to have crashed in the area of Mesilla, according to local media.

    The Boston Public Transportation Authority says the accident happened around 2:30pm (local time) on Monday.

    The train was travelling on Route 605 in Massachusetts.

    The company says it will be conducting an investigation.

    It said in a statement that the train was carrying about 80 passengers.

    The passengers were travelling on an interstate route and were stopped by police.

    No injuries were reported.
